Altitude catamaran (2018)

For the BENETEAU Design competition 2018
A catamaran with voluntarily organic and sculptural shapes which brings dynamism to catamarans. Moreover, different activities are proposed for a rather young target (or young families) in contrast to the majority of existing pleasure catamarans.
The various superimposed platforms can be used as diving spots, but also as relaxation areas at height to admire the landscape while sailing.
Design of a 4.30 m x 11 m innovative motor catamaran

Taking as a starting point the idea of going against the conventional forms and functions of a conventional motor catamaran,we also looked for the opposite type of the average catamaran user, which is usually from a privieleged background and environment.
We thus chose young adults as the user group, which led us to design a fun and dynamic catamaran. The research was therefore focused on the variety of activities and the dynamic shape of the catamaran.
